Olympic team announced

The Olympic team was announced this morning and unfortunately my name was not on the roster. I fought hard in Tennessee for a spot on the team, but in the end came up short. I can at least say that I gave it my all (and so did Burkley in synchro!) and can walk away from the sport without any regrets. Thanks to all for your support! I couldn't have done it without the help, prayers, and encouragement from so many. While I am sad that one chapter of my life is closing I am excited to look to the future and dream about what lies ahead. If there is anything that my 17 year diving career has taught me it is that anything truly is possible and to dream big!

Justin,
Sorry to hear about the team announcement! Words just don't seem to be enough. God wants you to have the best so I'm positive that something awesome awaits you in New York whether it's coaching diving, modelling, horticulture or something else altogether. You've made a BIG impression on me with my walk with God four years ago during the Olympic trials. You just seemed at peace between dives reading your book and listening to your headphones and smiling. You displayed your faith well on the Olympic stage. God's not through with you yet...that book is still ongoing only the page has turned and a new chapter begun, my friend. Enjoy the journey, Justin! Maybe some day you'll even write about your experiences to help others keep their faith through trying times. I know I'd read it!! So in case you discontinue this website, let it be known while I have the chance that you HAVE made a difference in at least one life. Unfortunately, the most important things in life go unrewarded with gold medals or blue ribbons...but God will see that you get rewarded eventually and then some. Take care and stay in touch if you can.

Justin.

Its been a really long time. I am proud to know that you have done so well with yourself over the years. Its been a very long time doing what you do and even though you didn't make it to the Olympic Team this year, you have done exceptionally well. I enjoyed watching you on the trials, and may I say DAMN you got good! :-)

I hope you continue to do well in all you do.

Your old diving friend,

Alan Spriggs

Justin,
It was fun watching you at the trials, and even if you didn't make the team, you still dove well from what they showed on tv! Keep us updated on what you do next.

Bryce

Justin, It was fun finding your website. I coach swimming where Kristian dives and when I was talking to him about trials I thought about you and was curious to see if you were still diving. Looks like you were. Congrats on a great career and more importantly on your marriage. Looks like things are going great. I have been blessed with a great husband and two kids who I adore. All my luck, Heidi www.dannyandheidimcmillan.blogspot.ocm

Hey, Justin!! So how's life after retirement been treating you? Anything interesting in your walk with God that you care to share?
